About the marquise cut
The marquise is one of the most elongated diamond shapes, with a length-to-width ratio typically between 1.75 and 2.25. This shape creates the largest face-up appearance of any diamond shape per carat. The pointed ends require protective claw settings, which we include as standard on The Marina.
