Orion

Regular price $6,100.00

Description

The Orion is a lab-grown diamond band. Not a solitaire, not a halo, but a ring of its own with multiple lab-grown diamonds set in a continuous line. It works as an engagement ring, a right-hand ring, or a wedding band that stands alone. Clean, balanced, and made to be worn. Handcrafted to order in solid 18K gold or platinum.

Every diamond in The Orion is lab-grown and individually selected. The multi-stone format creates a trail of light across the finger, with each stone contributing to a ring that reads as rich and considered rather than showy.

Specifications

  • Diamonds: Multiple lab-grown diamonds, matched for colour and clarity
  • Certification: IGI certifies stones of one carat and up. The stones in this band sit below that threshold, so they are not individually certified.
  • Setting: Multi-stone pavé or bezel band
  • Metal: 18K yellow, white or rose gold, or 950 platinum
  • Total carat weight: Selected at checkout
  • Engraving: Complimentary
  • Made to order: Handcrafted in approximately six weeks
  • Designed in Australia

Diamond band as an engagement ring

A lab-grown diamond band is an increasingly popular alternative to the traditional solitaire for anyone who prefers something less conventional. The Orion works as a standalone engagement ring or pairs with a solitaire for stacking. From $6,100 AUD.

Why a multi-stone band instead of a solitaire?

A solitaire puts all attention on one stone. The Orion distributes it across the finger, each lab-grown diamond catching the light at a slightly different angle, creating movement rather than a single point of focus. It's also a more wearable choice for anyone who wants something that works for daily life as well as formal occasions.

Lab-grown diamonds in a band setting

Multi-stone bands require strict consistency across all stones. Every diamond has to be matched for colour and clarity so the band reads as a unified whole. At Una Diamond each stone in The Orion is individually selected, so the band looks considered rather than pieced together. Browse our lab-grown diamond solitaire rings, oval-cut engagement rings, and 18K white gold and platinum rings.

Care Instructions

How do I take care of my jewellery?

18K gold and platinum

Soak your ring in warm water with a little mild soap, then gently brush around the setting and behind the stone with a soft toothbrush. Rinse and pat dry with a lint-free cloth. We recommend removing your ring for the gym, gardening and swimming.

Lab-grown diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds are just as hard and durable as mined diamonds, but lotions and everyday oils can dull their sparkle. A gentle clean every few weeks keeps them bright.

Do you have a warranty?

Yes. Every Una Diamond piece is covered by our three-year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, including the setting and metalwork. To make a claim, contact us with your order number and a short description of the issue.

Please note: the warranty doesn't cover wear and tear, accidents or misuse, loss or theft, or changes in sizing or personal preference.

How should I store my ring?

Keep your ring in its own soft pouch or a lined jewellery box when you're not wearing it. Diamonds can scratch gold, platinum and even other diamonds, so giving each piece its own space keeps everything looking its best.

Do you create custom pieces?

Yes. Every Una ring is made to order, and you can design your own with our ring builder. Choose your band style, metal, stone shape, carat and setting, then add personal touches like engraving, a hidden halo or a secret gemstone in the band. We'll share a 3D CAD rendering for you to review and refine before your ring is crafted. Have a question about your design? Get in touch. Would you like to customise one of our designs? Add your requests to the notes on your order and our team will help bring them to life.
